Although we are small we have the flexibility to expand rapidly and often flex for the needs of your business. How and why does it work?
Firstly the how is the reality we have been doing this over 25 years, as such we have an extensive network of consultants, surveyors, contractors and specialists we can draw on. Although we may not have every person directly, indirectly we know, have worked with and built relationships with all aspects relating to buildings, asset management, projects and facilities management.
The reason it works is it allows you to only gather the specialist skills and individuals as you need them. This lean approach allows us to delivery a lot of services and at a high quality level with people familiar with each other and their specialisations. Due to us being transparent and open we also let the specialists know when work is coming to an end as soon as we do. This builds relationships and trust along with a main driver in the close relationships that we hold with everyone we work with. Everything we do is about partnering rather than working for or people working for us. As everything is a group effort and its important that this ethical way of working comes through our business model.
For us, this is a normal day of helping our clients succeed with the services we provide:
- Asset Surveying
- Backlog maintenance strategies
- Forecasting (25 year programming)
- 5 year plans
- Delivering annual programs for clients as both lifecycle leads and project managers.
- Project management support for small works.
- SFG20 mapping + PPM planning.
- Energy strategies.
- Client support (We often support our clients in meetings with their clients due to our commercial and technical background).
- Contractor support (Supplying contractors and project delivery).
- Government subsidy support (Processing and submitting documents on behalf of our clients).
Why can we offer a better service than everyone else? We live and breathe assets, myself (Matt) I have been doing asset management for over 20 years, its not because it is a job, but a passion, as developing buildings in a way that evolves the environment around us is what I live for. As someone who is a DOER the changes I can create allows the future of tomorrow, this doesn’t mean I am not a thinker either as I have regularly been referred to as a deep thinker. However one of the biggest issues in Facilities Management and Assets has always been procrastination. I want you to succeed, which is why my focus is on what, when, where and how. If you take a failing contract with limited budget –
- What? – The problem is limited budget and historical failures with lack of renewals on Lifecycle.
- Where? – What assets do you have, what condition are they in, are you sure you have all the assets? These are the initial questions. If not sure but no budget for a full condition survey we can tailor to a lifeline of focus, along with a desktop gap analysis to get things started. The importance is making sure “things get started”.
- When? – You may not have the budget this year, 5 years, 10 years but we will develop a strategy with you to cover upto 25 years that can work towards light at the end of the tunnel. Being matched to budget, condition and risk.
- Who? – You may want the initial investigation and strategy put together by us, but move to a local delivery team. We can assist in making sure the localised team can deliver, but also offer support services remotely, on-site or periodically check-in.
